Until the 1990s, the Nuremberg Hercules factories produced mopeds, mopeds and mokicks. Hercules was one of the best known and most established two-wheeler brands in the Nuremberg motorcycle industry. The company was founded in 1886 by Carl Marschütz under the company name "Velozipedfabrik Carl Marschütz & Co.".
Do you want to avoid major repairs to your Hercules Prima or Sachs 505 2-speed engine? Then a regular inspection of the engine is essential. With this set you get all the spare parts needed for inspection. Often the fuel filter is dirty after years of use and thus clogged. The fuel can thus not flow unhindered to the carburetor. This problem can be easily solved with a new fuel filter and fuel hose. It is usually recommended to clean the carburetor as well and to install new gaskets or nozzles. Two further components of the set are the spark plug and the spark plug cap. These ignition components are subject to high wear and can lead to misfiring if they are not working properly. Therefore, these should be replaced. You will also receive a bottle of gear oil, which serves to fill or refill the gearbox. The air filter insert of your vehicle should also be replaced. Last but not least, dirt on the engine housing can be removed with the help of the brake cleaner.
