The Puch-Werke was an Austrian company that manufactured automobiles, motorcycles, internal combustion engines, motorbikes and bicycles. The Puch Maxi moped is probably best known. In Austria, the term “Maxi” stands for its own vehicle category and is often applied to other makes.
The float consists of a plastic housing with a metal hinge. It is installed centrally in the float housing and arranged in a ring around the main jet. The float's job is to keep the fuel level in the chamber constant.
