In principle, the various carburetors can be freely interchanged. The size of the passage essentially determines the quantity of the fuel-air mixture and must be selected according to the corresponding engine capacity. The engine and air-side connections can usually be adapted using adapters.

The carburetors of the PHB series are among the most common models in the 50-125cc class. PHB carburetors are used on the majority of mopeds, mopeds and scooters. They are the standard for Minarelli engines.
