DESCRIPTION:
This racing cylinder kit from Malossi is probably one of the most powerful you can ride in the 50cc class. With matching exhaust and carburetor, big power increases are possible here. With three-piece exhaust, split cylinder head and coated pistons, you'll be ready for the rigors of the racetrack.

TECHNICAL DATA:
CYLINDER:
- Material: special aluminum alloy with high silicon and titanium content, ensuring exceptional resistance to deformation even at high temperatures.
- Heat treatment: Special saturation and stabilization process for increased material strength to ensure that mechanical and dimensional specifications remain unchanged up to 250°C.
- Computerized machining: Performed on NC machining equipment with extremely limited size and shape tolerances (roundness, vertical plane).
- Tread coating: Using nickel-based silicon carbide with heat treatment to ensure extreme hardness (around 600 HVO, 1/5) and excellent wear resistance.
- Tread machining: Using special machines that ensure a high degree of perfection of the tread, whose roughness corresponds to the angular specifications established in the design phase (grinding process with special grindstone).
- Overflow and exhaust diagrams: Drawn and manufactured specifically for racing purposes. The determination of the overflow and exhaust diagrams was done with considerable effort by our engineers, both on the test bench and on the race tracks where the Trophy takes place.

PISTONS:
- Material: Special aluminum alloy with very high silicon and titanium content, ensuring both high heat resistance and resistance to deformation.
- External coating: Graphite coating with very low coefficient of friction.
- Structure: Reinforced to withstand the stresses of a high performance racing cylinder unit while being lightweight to reduce inertia.
- PISTON RING: Single 1 mm Modular rectangular cast iron ring with hard chrome coating on the outer surface.

PISTON RINGS:
- Piston rings in very strong cast iron with coating, wear resistant, hard chrome plated.

CYLINDER HEAD:
- Material: special aluminum alloy with very high heat dissipation.
- The geometry of the heat conducting surfaces has been revised and improved.
