Hercules is probably one of the best-known bicycle and motorcycle brands in Germany. Founded by Carl Marschütz in 1886, the company is an integral part of the Nuremberg motorcycle industry. Through close cooperation with Fichtel & Sachs, the F & S engines were installed in Hercules light motorcycles up to 200 cc from 1928.
