DESCRIPTION:
presto Multi Wax is a transparent, wax-based corrosion protection agent for the long-term protection of surfaces and cavities on cars, two-wheelers and all types of machinery. The product has an excellent moisture-displacing and penetrating effect. Leaves a firmly adhering, light-colored protective film after drying. Adheres to bare and painted surfaces. Excellent as long-term protection for decommissioned vehicles or garden tools.

TECHNICAL DATA:
- Base: solvent, wax, additives
- Color: white-transparent
- Consistency: liquid
- Viscosity (20°C) DIN 53211 4mm: 30 seconds
- Density (20°C) according to DIN 51757: approx. 0.85 kg/ltr.
- Solids content according to DIN 53216 (3 hours at 120°C): approx. 47 %
- Drying (at 20°C, 65% relative humidity): Dust-dry: after approx. 105 minutes (±100 µ) / Through-dried: after approx. 5 hours (±100 µ)
The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the air humidity and the applied layer thickness.
- Chemical resistance to: Water, salt spray, oil, light acid and base
- Temperature resistance (after setting): -25°C to +160°C
- Consumption with a layer thickness ±200µ wet: ±0.2 kg/m²
- Salt spray test (DIN 50021): up to 1000 hours Ri 0 with 100µ dry layer
- Bending test (DIN 53152 -30°C / +70°C): no cracking, no delamination
- Shelf life/storage: 5 years if stored properly (=10°-30°C, relative humidity of max. 60%).
